And welcome from another newbie but long time idiot. And in keeping with Johns post ALWAYS make sure you have several batteries, charged and a fresh one in the camera when you head out. That advice from an idiot that STILL hasn't learned.
Welcome to UHH John, glad you joined us. Read your manual, twice and then again. Check Nikon USA for tips on your camera and use UTube. Be brand and model specific when using UTube.
