Hello.
My Name is Heather. I am located in Upstate New York. I am a Nikon Shooter. I am a mom, wife, photographer, and school bus driver.
im new to the site and wanted to say hello. I am looking forward to meeting some new people, and viewing any work that people have shared.
I did have a question that I really should know the answer to, however I have forgotten.
The piece of reflective Poly square used in portraits to create a reflection... Does anyone know what that is called?. I used to have one. It got broken somehow, i tossed it... I would really like to purchase another one, but cannot for the life of me remember what its called.
Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the Forum Heather, enjoy.
Welcome Heather
I'm new as well to this site (one month). I'm a retire (switched to fine art) photographer.
The reflector you may have used, was it foldable ? There are many such reflectors. Really anything you can think of can be such a reflector, even bedsheets. Check with professional photo suppliers and you may be able to buy it on-line. My suppliers are all from NYC where I earned a living as a pro for 27 years. In Manhattan try "Set Shop" and "FotoCare" both are in the old photo district around 5th Ave and 21st street. Also B&H and Adorama. Most reflectors are flexible / foldable foil like with one side silver /chrome and the other side either white or gold. Good Luck ! PS: SetShop is a miscel set supply house for photog's: no film or cameras. FotoCare sells film/memory cards, cameras, strobes, etc.
