me too, grand...thank you very much for your comment!
Great shots! Thanks so much for sharing.
I like a picture you don't see everyday. Doesn't mater how good technically the picture is when it has the ability to move ones emotional state. Yours did that to me. I would use a smilie face here is one had tears.

Geez, what a beautiful and moving post and images. Since I was a child My Family always had German Shepards. There has always been something about their eyes. So attentive, always a show of love to it's owner, and always of look of wonder. Such a beautiful animal. Jerry, those were enough images for Me to produce tears; the first dog picture did it. Well, I've been on here long enough for now. I need to get back to My Wife's grave site again. Hope Her flowers didn't freeze last night. Her and I were both in the US Army during the Nam era, but We didn't meet in the service. She was Signal Corp in Hawaii and I was a Nike Guided Missile Repairman (Ordnance) in Korea. Please don't get Me wrong here. I was not a hero and am not looking for any praise. All the Ones that didn't make it back home were Heros. God bless.

i love german shepards also, walter. after my husband's vietnam service, we
were given a german shepard, and bought another one, and they were great
companions. they both lived many years and we enjoyed them so much.
i am happy that you enjoyed the tribute. sounds like you, too , are a veteran,
and i thank you for your service. i'm sorry about your wife and know you miss her
deeply.
