Can anyone ID bird #1,I saw these two this morning.I know bird #2 is aWoodpecker,there are quite a few of them around.

Some robins (not very many) stay all winter.

#1 is an American Robin and #2 is a Red-bellied Woodpecker.

It's a Robin! Its supposedly an American Robin, but we have the same kind in Germany, so I don't know why they are called that!

Most Robins don't migrate. They move into deep woods.

I can't believe a robin is still up here...and it's COLD out there now (you're not far from us). The second is a woodpecker, but not sure what kind.
