Went down to the big lake tonight for sunset.....a lot of wave action and a lot of kite surfers. Too bad wind chill was probably below zero. Feel free to post any and all comments as I am still an amateur.

Nice pics. I can't imagine kite surfing a northern front in these temps. Brrrrrrrrr!

I am no expert, by any stretch, but with the image of the waves smashing into the lighthouse, I would love to see the shadow pulled back a bit. Adding more detail I think, would give the eye something to latch onto. In Lightroom, this could be done with a brush, so as not to disturb the yummy gold of the sky. But This can easily be done with most PP software. Extra edit or not, these are very likable.

Great pictures and I used to live next to Lake Michigan and I remember enjoying cold evenings watching the waves and sunset.
