This photo was taken about a month ago. I would like to think it is somewhat different from the "typical shot." After some thought (and pp), I decided I like it, but would really like to know what others think. Any comments will be appreciated.

I like it, Allan--it certainly is sharp. Just a trivial idea, but I might have rotated it 90 degrees so that the 'middle bits' were at the bottom of the picture--but that's just me, lol. It's a nice shot.

An interesting idea. I tried it, and (at least for me) it makes the initial impression even more jarring. I think I prefer the original version, but I am hardly an objective judge. In any event, thanks for looking and the suggestion.

I like it a lot, especially how you cropped it. And it's very sharp and perfectly saturated IMO.

Beautiful work, Allan!! The lines of the petals led my eyes right to the focal point, which is the yellow center, right?
