Any sane person couldn't.

Honestly, at this point, I think we need to look at Australia as a model. Regardless what alternative facts the GOP gives you, the Australia model worked.
Or we can just sit on our hands, pray to the invisible man and keep burying the dead.
Remember, in this case, this dirtbag was convicted and served time for domestic assault. He was discharged from the Air Force for Bad Conduct and yet he didn't just get one firearm, he got multiple firearms because we're not doing comprehensive background checks.

NO..The Air Force admitted the officer who was reponsible for turning him in to the database failed to do so...even so he could have obtained a weapon illegally easily..
Nothing you can do to stop that!!!!!!!

Loc: Oregon, USA
The shooter was a "Poster Boy" for a Domestic Violence assailant. A very disturbed, evil person. And IF the US air force (where he was convicted of domestic violence, then discharged from the service) would have properly entered his name in the national data base, he would not have been able to purchase a gun.
Heads are going to roll at the Air Force.
If laws would have been properly followed, this would not have happened. The Goal should be to keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have them. If you're convicted for domestic violence, you cannot buy a guy in almost every state.
Laws here require private persons selling or giving a gun to anyone, to obtain a background check before selling or giving a gun to anyone. Laws are intended to keep guns out of the hands of people who should not have guns, not take guns away from law abiding people. Loopholes are beginning to be closed at least here in Oregon. They should everywhere.
Had strict gun control been in place, the gentleman across the street from the church probably would not have had the AR-15 with which he shot this asshole in the leg and abdomen. It was because he was shot by an armed Sutherland Springs resident that he only made it a few miles down the road before running off the road and subsequently putting a bullet in his own worthless skull. Who knows where/how far he would have gone with the ammunition and weapons that he still had in the trunk?

You write like a 3rd grader and I would guess that your IQ is in double digits.
Try going back to school. It might help.
