This was a from a first day trial run with my Tamron 150-600 telephoto at 1/4000: 600mm: f7.1: ISO 1000. I was practicing with the 3d auto focus on my D750 and this was part of a burst. The birds like to hang out at a railroad bridge that crosses the canal and I took a few hundred shots that day. This one was coming in for a landing. I love the shadow of the birds head on the inside of the wing.
BTW - I kept the lens.

Wish you had of hit the "store original" Very nice capture, and I agree, the shadow on the wing is awesome.

This was a street vendor drawing a portrait in the shade of a tree in central park (New York City) from this summer. Taken with my D750 - 28-300mm nikkor at 85mm, 1/100, f14, ISO 640. I don't do many portraits but I really like the color and softness of the reflected light.

Very good shot! You really composed it perfectly. With both the model and the drawing of the model in the picture. The artist is pretty good too. I have seen some people have this done, and it doesn't even come close to resembling them.

Winter dawn shoot Catherine hill Bay, NSW, Australia
Canon EOS 40D + EF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens
1/2000 @ ƒ/5.6 and ISO 400

Fair bit of PPing to bring out the light.
Mostly Topaz Adjust with just a selective touch of Topaz Simplify for the spray (it has been a while). The original raw file and the scene itself looked pretty good.

Well done Richard! This is a spectacular image!

[quote=Tinkwmobile]This is a panorama I shot at the beach from 9th floor of condo. We live close to the beach and I have hundreds of sunset pictures. There was very little touch up, just enough to bring out the colors a bit more. Originals shot with ISO1600; 75mm; f4.8 and 1/125. I have other shots in this series at lower ISO and different lens combination doing experiments. Cannot linger long over sunset shots, colors quickly fade away
Such a beautiful sunset! They always seem to be prettier at the beach or at a lake. Something about the sun setting over water seems to make them more appealing!

The photos below were taken with my Olympus C2000Z digital camera in 1999.
This trip was the first time that I had used the digital "mirrorless" camera.
The photo of the Helicone(not sure of the full name), was shot in color and the B&W version was done in PSP I believe.
The flowers in Hawaii are very impressive and since then we have been back to the islands several times.
I think the coloring is about spot on, but the B&W just gives it another look all together.
What do you think.

Wow, I love them both!

Technically not the best picture I have ever taken. Picture does everything I wanted, tells a story with one picture. Runner is out, ball in first baseman's glove and ump paying close attention. Taken in 2005.
Shot from the stands, the blur is netting.

Way to capture the moment! Excellent shot!
