Love the sun shafts and trees in #2! Has a religious feel of wonder!

It was amazing to experience - the light went on and on and got better by the second! I never saw anything like it before.

Here are a couple from my September trip to Venice to shoot the Festival of the Redeemer, featuring a HUGE fireworks show over the lagoon. Camera, my new Sony A6000.

Tamron 90mm f/2.8 1/3200 sec.

Amanda is a professional model. But you could probably tell that. What a gorgeous young lady. I had the wonderful opportunity to spend an entire day shooting her. I feel very fortunate that several of my shots ended up in her portfolio

This is a shot from my friend on one of his tours. It's my first attempt at HDR processing. The original had all their kit in shadows with no detail.

Also the size after processing was about 10 M, so I resized it and limited the DPI to 72 to make posting a bit quicker.

I thought it was appropriate for this time of year. I'm helping out at our local Legion planning the Remembrance Day (Veteran's Day) services.

This is a portrait of our great-granddaughter, Tilly Jo. This is my favorite shot of her. I love the muted colors, lace, and soft focus. Very feminine, very innocent.

Tamron 18-270 @ 77mm, f/5, 1/20, ISO 640. Off camera speedlight @ 1/64 power.

These two shots are SOOC, taken at Halifax Harbor on a foggy morning. I love the B&W cast (though neither was shot as B&W).... Also, the tiny "splash" of color with the Canadian flag on the "ghost ship" and the umbrella along the hull of the docked boat. Took these w/a Canon 60D and 18 - 135 "kit" lens.
