Guys, I am shooting the Sony A-6000 (and soon the A-6500). I have the F4 zoom lenses (10-18, 16-70, 70-200) and the 90 f2.8 macro, all of which are great lenses. But I also want a fast 'normal' lens for street, night club, theater, etc. I have the 32mm f1.8, but on the A-6000 that becomes the equivalent to a 48mm, which is a little longer than I want for a normal lens. I would prefer something more like a 20 (functional equivalent 30). I know I could buy the Sony 20mm f2.8 pancake, but (a) that is a bit slow, and (b) I have read some luke-warm reviews of the lens. So any suggestions on a high-quality fast normal? Somewhere around 20mm, and f2.0 or faster. Thanks in advance.
Thanks, that was helpful. I have read some good reviews of the Sigma

The Sony Zeiss 24 mm f1.8 is a beautiful lens. I think you would like it.

Here are sites listed recommended lenses for E-Mount cameras. The better the lens, the higher the price. Reviewers are always going to find something to complain about.

I use this Zeiss lens with a Sony 6500 and an A7 and it is about the only lens I use now. It is a great lens. I like to shoot the Milky Way and it works very well for that.
Check out Samyang/Rokinon 12mm for E mount lenses....manual but great lens for walk around
I have the Sigma 19mm 2.8 and the Sigma 30mm 2.8 on my Sony A6000's and can highly recommend them. Neither lens has OSS but that has not been a factor at all. Both of these Sigma lenses get excellent reviews.
Sorry for the lack of clarity. The lens I love is Sony Zeiss 24 mm f1.8. I bought it used, but in great shape.
Thanks for the suggestions; I think I will buy a 24mm

And, maybe a 30mm (45mm equivalent) is even more "normal".

"The technical definition of a standard lens is one whose focal length roughly matches the diagonal or the film or image sensor. For a standard full-frame 35mm camera this gives a focal length of around 43mm.
In reality, the actual focal lengths chosen by manufacturers tend to be slightly longer than this. For a 35mm sensor, 50mm is the most common standard lens, although some companies do sell lenses which are closer to 43mm focal length."
http://www.photographymad.com/pages/view/standard-lensesSo, it could be argued that the closest one is apt to get in a Sony "normal" lens for their APS-C cameras is the FE 28mm f/2 (SEL28F20). That would be a 42mm equivalent.
