Well, if you ever visit Florida Corky, know that you've got a place to stay!

That's so very kind of you Nimbu and I really appreciate your offer and the same applies if you ever make it up our way. We are not very far from Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown, and Richmond , Newport News, Norfolk, and even Virginia Beach are not more than one to three hours away! Our first visit to Florida was in 2012 and followed up with visits in 2013, 2014, and 2015 , but has been two long years since the last visit and hope to make it and back down sometime this winter! Titusville was our first destination in 2012 where we purchased a little Dodge 3500 van conversion Road Trek motor home and visited Black Point Trail at least several times before spending three of four days with our former neighbors which had relocated in Middleburg. They had been planning for our visit, and we had a great time visiting many places and parks in upper Florida with them, as he was a dealer Rep with Mercury Outboards and had become very familiar with many areas of Florida. The next winter we returned to Titusville to have several things taken care of with the camper while we were down, and after several great days traveled to St. Augustine and visited the Alligator Farm and then back to our former neighbors and after talking about it decided to take about a week, so we all and travel to Key West and visited with their son as he at that time was manager of the Harley Davidson store, and we really had a great time. Future trips were back to Black Point Trail and the nearby water treatments plants, the Everglades, Big Cypress, Everglades city, where we just missed Greg but did talk with him on the phone, Sanibel Island, Stuart, Fort Pierce, Okeechobee and a few others places I'm' sure, and sure miss seeing those beautiful Florida birds and really do hope we can make it down this year! Thanks again for you very generous offer and take care!

Sounds like you've seen the best of Florida already! If you do get down this winter and get near the Tampa Bay area contact me and we can hook up!

Many thanks and sounds great--we had planned on visiting in late February-early March of this year but Ellen was not feeling very well.....Just came in from feeding the birds and must have been about 15 mallards waiting on the pier for a handout!,,,, Still having mostly warm days here and virtually all the summer flowers are blooming and still looking good, and am sure that your walls and yard are beautiful and always love to view your images from around your home. Take care! Corky

I really like your fall colors in the first photo. I have never got a good fall photo in Florida.
