I live a few miles from where you took these beautiful photographs - every time I go to Bloomington I have to be careful when driving by this vista it can be very distracting. The weather, as you stated, has been lousy and normally this is my favorite time of the year .... but not this year!

Glad I could get the shots, as you say sunny days have not been the norm the last couple of weeks.
I have to drive by the driving range at sunrise a lot and I have the same problem. The vista there looking east.

#1 is so appealing for the light just touching the tops of the colorful trees. And who can resist a red barn! Very pleasing series; your countryside is similar to much of Maine (I haven't been back to my home state for over 7 years).
