It was a Phantom 4 Pro+. 'Return to home' didn't activate when it lost signal about a mile away. It was a firmware malfunction. It had come back in RTH mode hundreds of times before, but in this case, something went wrong. I know that it is extremely rare for this to happen, so I suppose I was just plain unlucky. Earl.

No, it doesn't. I know exactly what happened but I can't prove it, so they deny that it was a firmware issue, & it comes down to my word against theirs. Earl.
