Following on from my previous post part 1, I hope you enjoy this set.
The Church of St.Mary is a Victorian Gothic Revival built in the early English style by William Burgess in 1871-8. It was consecrated in 1878.
The Abbey was founded by Cistercian Monks in 1132 built in a Gothic style and is the largest monastic ruin in Britain. In 1987 it was awarded World Heritage status. In January 2010 the Abbey and Gardens became National Trust Property.
