Thanks, Carol! I really needed a boost since the response to this trip has been pretty indifferent. It's so time consuming putting together a post that I've been considering passing on the rest of the shares. Hoggers may be getting tired of my style and subjects, or maybe my final color adjustments lack pop when viewed from other computers--I suspect I am not using enough saturation when compared to photos posted on Facebook. I'll do one more post of the Tetons taken in the evening and see how it goes. Always appreciate your support of my efforts!

Diane, your shots are just right as Carol described. Living in this country, the colors and lighting are true to my eye, the saturation just right. I am enjoying your photographs immensely! I'm not tired of your style and subjects. I love your compositions. Please keep showing more!
I enjoy your travels as you always come back with such beautiful shots - like this series

I'll do my best to keep it interesting, CathyAnn--there's a diverse collection yet to come from Yellowstone as well as the area north of Livingston, MT.

I hope I can make some more trips next year, Sirius_one--I can never get enough of the Rocky Mountain regions!
Another great set Diane. I really do like the light in the first three and the clouds behind the mountains make a nice canvas for the snow covered peaks.

Those first images show the last of the storm moving out and we had mostly sunny days for the next week until the last two days of the 12-day trip--pretty lucky considering the time of year. While there are scenes that benefitted from mist or storm clouds, I have to admit I was glad when we started getting more sunshine!
How are the autumn colors down your way? WNC is finally coming into color now. I still hope to get to Babcock SP and New River Gorge one of these days--I've been working on all the falls and scenics I'd like to visit on an over-nighter to the area. Missed the color this year, but maybe next?
BTW, Dan and I went down to SC recently and took the roads you and I used to go to Saluda, and darned if we didn't get onto the wrong road again. I think there is a sign either missing, differently names, or poorly located that's throwing things off. We even used the Garmin.

Colors out this way were mostly nonexistent this year. The little we did get were blown off the trees over the past couple of weeks. I went to New River Gorge the first weekend in October and haven't done much since. Sydney's cousin got married a couple weeks ago so we were busy with that and then the last couple of weekends have been especially awful for personal reasons.
