Hi everyone. 1st time here.
Been a while since I got back into photography.
I am looking for another decent camera presently,as last decent one was in the film days my Nikon N90
Considering the Nikon D810 as it looks like it can take my lenses as I have a 35-70 2.8D AF and 80-200 2.8D AF
I guess it will be a change to learn digital.
Guess I have a lot to learn. Jim

Learning Digital imaging can be very difficult or very easy. It is as simple as you want it to be. The most important part is that you have some back experience that will serve you well. The best part is you want have to buy film anymore. Check out e-bay for a camera that your lenses will fit. You can always upgrade later. Good luck and enjoy.

Welcome to the forum. The D810 is a great camera and should last you for a long time. I have been using mine for about 9 months now and am still learning the camera but have really enjoyed it and have taken some wonderful photographs with it.

Enjoy digital, it is much easier than film. You can check your results immediately and adjust your setting from there.

Welcome to the forum.
(The digitals are a lot different than the film cameras in their abilities.)
