Those on the left are just as bad. Maybe more so.

I am surprised that you liberals, sorry socialists, out there are having such a hard time trying to verify the "facts" in the original post. This list is mentioned on SNOPES as a start. It is mentioned on a Snopes forum similar to this one but SNOPES does not confirm or deny the facts. There are several hundred other blogs and "news" sites that mention it. All of them either just post the list for their viewers or post it and refute it. ALL of them have the usual collection of Democrats, liberals, and Socialists hurling profanity and childish insults at the posters. That is the telling part.

Let's just use common sense. The statistics mentioned cannot possibly be accurate. Why? Simply because every country in the World, including the ones listed, compile their health statistics differently. There isn't even a standard method of defining cancer for example, much less how many people survive. I would suggest that this particular statistic is only important to the folks that have cancer. Investors Business Daily is an old newspaper that has focus on the business of investing. Their only interest in health statistics would be on which HMO to buy stocks from.

The best and most interesting source to refute the first part of the list, that I could find would be: http://tinyfrog.wordpress.com/2011/02/15/us-nationalized-healthcare/ What I gather from reading that site is that we spend a great deal more money on health care that everyone else without the coninsiding benefit.

As far as the second part of the list having to do with business experience: It would take an enormous amout of time to search out the facts on the previous administrations and I'm not certain anyone would have been compiling those facts in the first place. However, the gentleman at http://radicalpuppy.blogdrive.com/archive/112.html does an admirable job of checking on the current cabinet.

The only FACT that we all know and have come to love is that the only person at the management level in Washington D.C. without any business experience what-so-ever is Obama. He has never held a job that was designed to produce a real product or profit. I would be happy to entertain any proof to the contrary that you liberal/socialists can produce.
I am surprised that you liberals, sorry socialists... (show quote)

I will address your comment about Investors Business Daily .... they have an editorial colunm .... their business reporting and analysis the the best .... they routinely confuse objective financial reporting with their conservative adgenda anti Democrat, any Democrat position ...asI commented in a prior post .... don't read their editorials .... they are not financial in nature and extremely biased ..

There are actually two messages here. The first is very interesting,

Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis:

U.S. 65%

England 46%

Canada 42%

Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment
within six months:

U.S. 93%

England 15%

Canada 43%

Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months:

U.S. 90%

England 15%

Canada 43%

Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month:

U.S. 77%

England 40%

Canada 43%

Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people:

U.S. 71

England 14

Canada 18

And now for the last statistic:

National Health Insurance?

U.S. NO

England YES

Canada YES

Check the second set of statistics!!

The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked in the
private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet.
You know what the private business sector is - a real-life business,
not a government job. Here are the percentages.

T. Roosevelt..................38%

Taft..............................40%

Wilson ...........................52%

Harding.........................49%

Coolidge........................48%

Hoover ...........................42%

F. Roosevelt...................50%

Truman..........................50%

Eisenhower.....................57%

Kennedy.........................30%

Johnson..........................47%

Nixon..............................53%

Ford................................42%

Carter..............................32%

Reagan............................56%

G.H.W. Bush.....................51%

Clinton ..............................39%

G.W. Bush........................55%

Obama...............................8%

This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration: only 8%
of them have ever worked in private business!

That's right! Only eight percent---the least, by far, of the last 19
presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations
how to run their business?

How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the
most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about
business when he's never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has
never really had one? And when it's the same for 92% of his senior
staff and closest advisers? They've spent most of their time in
academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as "community
organizers." They should have been in an employment line.

Pass this on because we'll NEVER see these facts in the main stream media.

What makes this interesting is the fact that Fance is at the top of the list. Last week there was a thread where the libs/socialists were condeming nuclear power as the work of the devil himself. France gets 75% of its electricity from nuclear power and yet they have the best health stats. Go figure!

Having recently retired from about 35 years in cooperate America I would not be impressed by anyone claiming that their business leadership would qualify them to run a government. Most of the companies I worked for no longer exist. Most were poorly managed and run into the ground. The leaders sent jobs overseas and laid people off usually at Christmas time. I have a BSME and a MBA. I could go on, but I think you get the idea.

Talk is cheap...These figures mean nothing because they are only a portion of the big picture. It's easy to cherry pick figures to support your opinion.
