DeRonda- WOW! 20 for a cat is pretty good! We had one live to be 24! It still doesn't make it any easier to lose them. =-(
Juno is a beaut!
Thank you! Wow; 24, that's a wonderfully long life!
Yeah, even worse loosing the cats only 3 months apart.
Juno is 50lbs of solid muscle & full grown at 2 yrs. She is an anxiety ridden rescue pup from TN. She was 'labeled' as a lab/chow mix, but our vet thinks the chow is farther back in the blood line, he sooner thinks something like a shiba enu.
She melts her mama with those eyes... this is Juno at 11 wks when we first brought her home...
How could you NOT love her? :-D

I borrowed a Canon SX40 and took this shot of Chewy our male Yorkie. Chewy was laying on top of one of our computer desk just relaxing. It was taken in low light and I painted out some remnants that appeared in the background. Chewy needed a bath and he didn't have his customary Lion-like puffy hairdo. I centered him and use a horizontal frame so I could use his photo for a computer desktop background.
I like the black background, it puts the whole focus on Chewy.

I used the same technique with my Avatar flowers. Just painted the background out.

All pets are welcome, even green, six or eight legged ones.
Here are two of mine, and one I took of my daughters cat Frankie.... Spookie, a black cat, and Smudge, a Tortie.... I got Spookie from a friend whose cat had kittens. I went to look at them, and this is what I was met by.... The 3 Little Kittens, Spookie is in the middle. We later got Smudge from the Humane Society.
Spook just loves boxes, set one down and she is in it.
The last one is Frankie, my daughters cat in San Diego. He just recently went missing, and hasn't returned home.. :(
Three Little Kittens
Spook in Snickers Box
Spook Peeking Out From Box
Smudge On Top
Catching A Few Rays
Smudge's Favorite Place

Sorry, but it was posted twice...

On Aug 24th I had to put Ziggie my 7 1/2 year old Westie down. He had a terminal kidney disease. That ripped my heart out doing that. A few weeks later I rescured a Cairn Terrier (same type of dog that was in the Wizard of Oz).
I named him TAVISH. He was misteated and taken away from a animal hoarder. He is scared to death and he will not leave that bed I bought him. I have taught him to come with me when I put a leash on him. It will take a lot of time to help this dog and I got the time since I am retired now.

I agree with Rachel. It's a wonderful thing you're doing for that little dog. Here's a pic of one of my babies. No fur...but still sweet.

You should try to get a close up of that face. It is wonderful.
Here's some pics of my 2 birds. Poppy is an 8 year old male African Grey parrot and Honey is a male cockatiel, about 3 years old. Kiki, Kiwi are sun conures and Jake is a gold-capped conure. They are currently living with their daddy in New Jersey.
