If I actually post this it will be because the photos actually turned out. Bottom line: I'm in NYC on business and have only my cell phone. Not living in or around a city with skyscrapers, I'm always a bit fascinated with how they look, and what the light does with them. These were taken on my walk from the hotel to my temporary office.
No PP. As rough as they come.

All those tall buildings and you still captured some nice blue sky. The city is amazing and your photos do it justice.

Thanks, Bill. This evening I might look at them in the comfort of my hotel room and see what a little Lightroom might do for them.
Don't miss the opportunity to photograph the city by night. Times Square - the Theatre District ...

What a Fun Town !!! Great Photos,,,,Drop in to B & H Photo if You get a chance .......
Good job, Fred! You caught that towering feeling of a big city!
One of the major complaints I have about business travel is that it doesn't afford me the time to do the sightseeing I'd like! I'm down in the Financial District without wheels, and limited time. Taking a cab or an Uber is a possibility, but after having been on my feet all day, walking around isn't on the top of my list of things to do...
These are excellent captures. I lived in New York my entire life, and i'm always in awe of all the buildings and the hustle and bustle of the city. it's magnificent.
