I am new here and also pretty new at photography. I am using a Nikon d7100 which I received as a gift from my family a couple years ago. I have always used a "point and shoot" camera so this is a challenge for me. I have been viewing this site for some time and have decided to join. I enjoy the encouraging and helpful comments I have been reading on how members help one another.

Welcome to the forum. Look, read and enjoy. Ask questions and post your own shots whenever you like. You have a very good camera. I have been using a D7100 for about three years and it does a great job.
