I was just wondering how many UHHers use online photo sites like Flickr and 500px or others to display their photos? If you do make use of these types of sites why not post a link in your profile or signature area so others can get a look at your photos. I find Flickr useful to look at shooting techniques as well as various camera setting to get ideas to learn more about photography such as compelling POVs etc.
I've used wesaturate and Redit. I don't like loosing control of my best shots though.
I have a Squarespace web site and individual domain name to showcase my works.

I have a few of my photos on National Geographic's (Free) site (
www.yourshot.nationalgeographic.com/profile/534990/# ). Others can see them, but not download them. This info is posted as a link in my UHH profile. For pictures that people can download, I use Dropbox.
I have several sites including Flickr. Most sites play to limited audiences though. Flickr doesn't and though images can be stolen, they can on most other sites as well. If someone truly wants an image, there are ways.
I use Flickr, two web sites, and most recently a site called ViewBug, which is currently sending me way too many emails! However, ViewBug has wonderful photos to view if you are wanting that. I sell directly from my website but have never sold one. I so sell through a couple of galleries in my town and through a variety of photography exhibits. I do list my Flickr site and my web site on UHH.
I don't care for the format/layout/operation of most of the photo sites.
I found Coppermine Photo Gallery and incorporated it into my own website, of which I have complete control.
I usually post more images on my Facebook page, but I will be adding a couple of albums to the website gallery.
