Nice Shots!! I did not attend a live fireworks show so i took some shots of fireworks off of tv(boston and washington) I am ashamed to show them. curious, camera, lens and settings of shots? Thanks!!

Mine was a canon 20D, 2.5 min exposure, f/10, ISO 200, 70-200.

To get the shots I wanted I should have used the 18-55 kit lens

Here are mine from last night at the baseball game. We were able to see two firework shows from our seats at the game.

These were all take 100iso, f/11. shutter at 2 secs or longer.

As the field lights were dimming

Thank you.

My settings were 100iso, f/11 and shutter was between 2-3 secs. I used a monopod to hold the camera because the ballpark gets a little touchy about tripods and no press pass and my shutter release cable to help reduce movement.

The last two were from a show that was further away and my husband was getting tired of sitting still to help prop the monopod so there is a bit of movement.

Just one more. I also want to add that if you have "bulb" on your camera, try it. I got much better results this year using it.

I really like this photo. Very well done. I used the bulb setting on all my shots and am happy with the results.

This is a collage I did a while back.
Great fun to put each one in it's own layer and rearrange with endless possibilities.
