I use Picasa on a Windows 7 computer and am really used to it. If I were to buy a new Windows 10 laptop, can I get my pictures on it and use PICASA? Thanks Bob
From the horse's mouth:
https://picasa.google.com/That said.... The normal way to install a program is to download a file that is the "installer". If you can find that original installer, you may be able to install Picasa on a new computer. But, since Picasa was designed to run on an older operating system there may be unsolvable challenges that pop up. Worse, I think I recall that Picasa has internal links to internet things and those won't work.
Good luck with your frustration!
My understanding, Bob, is that there are places on the web on which you can still download the last version of Picasa. You might do a web search to see if that is still true. Of course what you get will never be updated.

I have Picasa on my win 10 and it works great....I don't use it because I use Lightroom. It will work fine on win 10 for you....
When I bought a new computer I had my computer store migrate PICASA .My computer OS is windows 10.. No problem. Still use Picasa as my go to and I feel it has the best organizer.
Yes. I found it online after my HD crashed. It may have been on Cnet. Works fine on Windows 10 pro 64 bit. Not a great editor but a superb organizer. Still worth having and using.
Works well on my Wiindows 10. No problems.

I use it on my Windows 10 laptop. It’s still downloadable from some 3rd party sites. Google it...
