My wife and I are Lifetime Members of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. Last year the museum began a program called Museum in Motion (MiM), consisting of a limited number of Vettes that participate in visiting prime tourist spots in the good âÂÂole USA. Last year the MCM conducted just two or three. This year the program grew to I belie e five. Next year the calendar is projected to grow again to 13, according to Bryce Burklow, NCM trooper who is a key member of the organizing team and conductor of the most recent tour, led by Mike Kreiger, a volunteer at the NCM.
My wife is unable to travel long distances via auto, so I prevailed on an old friend, Gary Uleman from Omaha, NE to join me on the most recent tour, a visit to five National Parks in AZ and UT. As it turned out, a couple of the sites were on GaryâÂÂs bucket list, so convincing him to hook up was probably the easiest job IâÂÂve had lately.
I flew to Omaha on Friday, Oct 22; we departed Omaha at oâÂÂdark:30 Saturday morning and arrived in Williams, AZ late Sunday afternoon. Williams was the gathering spot for the tour. The tour launched early Monday morning, Oct 24, connecting with 23 other Vette groups. Highlights were the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, and Arches National Park. Friday evening, Oct 29 concluded the gathering (in Moad, UT), and what a great event it was. Words fail me, so I wonâÂÂt try to describe the beauty and grandeur of these national treasures. Suffice it to say that if you have not had the pleasure, take time to go. If you donâÂÂt enjoy the journey, let me know, and IâÂÂll discuss refunding you the cost of the trip!!!
Here are two samples of what we encountered. More to follow as I go through the six or seven hundred shots I took on the way. My shooting tools were a Canon 5D/IV with 24-205 F4 L and an Olympus E-M1 Mk/II with 12-100 F4 Pro.
Nice scenery. Keep 'em comin'.
If a group of lions is a Pride, what is a 23 groups of Corvettes called?

Gary, you getting a high number of transmission errors in your posting here. Don't know who your INET provider is, so don't know the modem you are using.
You might want to unplug the power from your modem/router for a minute or two, then let it load back up. (Completely removing it from a power source, not just turning it off.
If on a power strip, that means unplugging it from the strip, completely.)
That tour sounds interesting. I've gone on the Nevada State tour, expensive to participate, but fun. Of course, some of the routes are long and straight, so we can 'Let The Legs' out on our cars.

Looks more like ASCII conversion errors, having to do with the apostrophe character..
