Hallmark Cards Deluxe 2018 review

Have had a couple days to work with the 2018 version of Hallmark Cards. Not much of an improvement over my 2015 version. Good program to make and print cards, etc. But the Email function not much better than before. I did find out that the animated Email will not work unless you have Outlook installed as your primary mail program. I tried working around that and saving the animated card rather than just Emailing from the program and then Emailing the file from my regular email program. Seems to be a hit and miss proposition. Sometimes people can run the avi card file and other times they can’t. Just isn’t reliable enough and I am not going to switch to Outlook as my primary installed mail program for the sake of running Hallmark. Have requested my money back as I don’t think I am gaining anything useful in the 2018 version. If I didn’t have a card program would I buy Hallmark, yes. Would I upgrade if I had another version, no. Just as in my 2015 version there is something about the avi file it creates that might not be standard.

Thanks. I'll take a look. I usually use Jacquie Lawson cards.

I rarely use pre-designed cards as I put together my own. There are thousands of cards for all sorts of occasions that come with the program. Typical Hallmark cards and most very nice but I just don't use them.

Is this all pre-printed stuff or can you design, print, alter (their cards) or Email your own cards? From what I saw so far on the Internet I couldn't tell. If you can't we are not comparing apples to apples.

I send hard copy cards usually. Rarely an e-card. But..
Have you priced Hallmark cards lately?
$5-7 and up for a card 'Made in China'. Not me.

Exactly why I use Hallmark Cards. I won't pay the price of cards in the stores when people read them and then they area usually trashed.
