Love the Green Heron. We have them here, but I rarely see them. Is the green heron an adult or a juvenile? He looks like a juvenile. Great captures!

Thank you, fourg1b2006! The GBH struggled to swallow this fish, but it was apparently too big for him and he eventually abandoned it.

It's hard to get a green heron in flight. As opposed to the great blue, they are speedy little herons. These are all good shots, but that one impresses me the most. Well done.

Hi - just checked my Sibley's bird book - definitely a juvenile according to it.
