Attention any music or military aficionados: help with album identity or worth?

Several years ago a friend of mine gave me her late father's vinyl records. In the small collection was a 78 RPM recording of U.S.Army bugle calls. I just looked on E-Bay in response to a different post on the hog and found one with a mildly similar label (same color, different words and format, but identical songs. I'll try to put up some better pic if requested/needed. My turntable doesn't play 78s so I can't vouch for sound quality.

Beg, Borrow, or steal a player that will play these.. you will enjoy them immensely. I have no idea of the value, but these sounds have been around since "F Troop".. I think that the Army Buglers learned from these..

Probably used at an Army post - played over the post loudspeaker system at specific times during the day
Helped keep those without wristwatches synchronized.

Back in 1961 during basic training. We were required to recognize each one and respond accordingly, or "get down" and do push ups until the corporal was tired.

On, as someone else had mentioned it, "Flea-Bay" there are 3 bugle albums ranging form $8 - $450. I hope someone can give me an idea. I went to a pawn shop on the way to the gym this afternoon, but they were closed on Sundays.

Looks like a 33 1/3 record to me.

If you download the pic, you can see, on the right side of the label, that it's a 78.

Merlin1300 nailed it. These records were broadcast over the post loudspeaker system before they went to tape then digital. Most Army installations still play calls during the day. Nice touch of nostalgia. Back in the day when there was an actual post bugler, the calls were used for all activities from wake up to meal time to water your horse time to get out of the bars time. Lots of Cavalry troops got injured because the horse knew the bugle commands better than the rider and would respond to the command, often leaving the unprepared trooper with no horse under him.

Neat. I e-mailed Antique Archeology to see if they can give me more info.
