Anyone with a Working Projector?

I recently came into lots of 16mm silent and sound shorts from the 50s, but have no means of watching them. I took some to my University, however the machines there are very inconvenient.

Is there anyone with a fully working optical/Magnetic sound projector I could use to view some of them on? I'm in Southeast London, so would prefer someone local.

If you wish to help, contact me via email: bwsemerald2000bb@gmail.com

I had a similar problem with 8mm and slides. I wound up buying projectors from ebay.

I still have a couple of them, but they reside in Germany!

Sorry. I gave away a 16mm sound projector to a church that had an add in the paper. I was no longer using. Years ago I used to show films for the Telephone co. and also for Debora Hospital in New Jersey.

There are companies that will digitize them and send you a download link and/or a thumb drive.
I recently sent off some 16mm reels that my father took in the late 1940's that we had never seen since he only had an 8mm projector.

Digitizing is an option, but I do not have the money as there are many of them!
