Hi all, could I please call on your wisdom.....well advise. I currently spend time working on images to load to flickr as more of a social past time and share tips and comments. With this I must have a good 200 images that I feel are not for flickr and are more stock based images of different locations etc.

where would you say is the best place to put these with a good site that I could guide people to if they asked to see what stock I have? Also I would like to have them in an area so I can build on images as a sort of collection to my stock images.....any advise would be great?

At one time I was wanting a site to display my work and sell it. To have it make it would cost me over a $1,000, I bought one on ebay for $250. I wanted to make changes and they said No. A web designed told me about smugmug.com it has every thing I need to display my work and sell it for $40. a year less domain (godaddy.com). If you need to sell your work fast try ebay. I pay $16. month for my ebay store and make $1,000s on it. Take it for what it worth, it works for me.

Just a suggestion...
zenfolio.com

They offer various packages from basic to professional. Of course, the more bells and whistles...the costlier. I know of several photographers here in Nashville that use this site. I'm thinking of perhaps buying one myself. And...its highly customizable to meet your specific needs including selling features.

Check them out...it can't hurt.

Good luck with the hunt

The link to my store, I haven't put any thing on it for over a year. It there if I need it. http://stores.ebay.com/Old-Texas-Jeans-Company?_rdc=1 I've sold every thing on it. It helps with my income if I need it. It works I know I've done it. Get feet wet, look around see what other are doing.
