Correction: Question was -
I had an old Canon kit. What digital camera can use those lenses?
and most answers have addressed that question

You are wrong (reread the original post and the very useful replies), and your language is inappropriate for this forum.

Perhaps you could address your comment and observation to yourself. Do you have an AE-1? Do you have any FD lenses? Do you have any FL/FD lenses that work on a DSLR, Canon or otherwise? Some of us do. Perhaps a little self correction could be a good way to start the weekend! http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-246186-1.html

You didn't quote what the OP posted. So you are wrong. And your question doesn't make sense. The old lenses would certain fit on the AE-1. The old lenses won't fit on the new EOS Canon be it film or digital.

Since this thread has been taken off the rails, let's try to get it back on track again. It seems that the OP has a Fujifilm bridge camera from the image he posted. Perhaps considering a Fujifilm ILC camera would be a good option. Several UHH members recommend them strongly. An adapter like this could be a good solution for the OP: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/994990-REG/fotodiox_fd_fx_p_pro_fujifilm_x_mount_adapter.html

So says a Canon user.

Among the mirroless crowd I like the Fuji the most but I am thinking if I were in the OP shoe I would want a FF camera to utilize the FF aspect of the lenses.

That is certainly a consideration, although I'd be quite happy with an APS-C sensor initially, at least. Full frame is relatively more expensive, and for mirrorless somewhat limited in choice. Bear in mind that nice though older glass is, it does have limitations that a modern FF sensor might expose.

I guesss that would depend on one's viewpoint. My mother left behind an AE-1 kit with 28mm, 50mm, and 70-210mm lenses. Under modern thinking, wanting focal length of "normal" lens
to roughly equal diagonal of sensor, the 28mm lens would make a good "normal" lens for an EOS-M5, and the others would provide telephoto views until other lenses could be obtained.

Hi

A quick search on eBay and Aliexpress returns FD to EF adaptors that can be had for as little as $US12, including free shipping but the average is $US20. These do not support autofocus but adaptors that do are slightly more.

Example:

Actually the smaller sensor requires sharper lens and these old lenses may not be sharp enough. For the same number of pixels the smaller sensor needs sharper lens.

That's a valid point, but many factors need to be considered. Unless happy with an adapter including a corrective lens, then a mirrorless camera is the best option, and there aren't many choices for full frame mirrorless.

It may be that a perfect solution does not yet exist that meets everyone's specific criteria.
