I recently visited Luxembourg for a few days holiday, it's only a small country but the small towns and villages are very beautiful. One very interesting place is Schengen, it is situated on the River Moselle where Luxembourg, France and Germany all meet up, it is possible to walk from Germany into Luxembourg and France in a few minutes. Schengen is famous for being the town where the "Schengen Agreement" aka EU or Common Market was signed, this enabled free trade, no customs control and no passports required between the member countries.
I have attached a few photographs which are interesting more than artistic.
Entering Schengen, staight ahead is Germany, to the right is France.
