Quite a week of neat Challenges.....Nice to see so many pages, thanks all.

We attended a Bread Festival at an old mill last weekend

Nice photo's.

Well of course we went back to Disneyworld during Hurricane season and did not expect to be in the midst of Hurricane Irma. When she swept through Orlando she was a Category 2 and tore the place up with flooding and trees down everywhere. We were not aloud to leave our Disney Movie Resort and the parks were closed down for 2 days.
But we made it through just fine and lets just say its good to be home again.

This is a quilt my sister is making. You quilters will appreciate the work and ideas behind it. It is a crazy quilt with intricate beadwork and embroidery. The pieces, buttons, cutwork from old handkerchiefs and more all have meaning - some were our mother's, some were gloves worn at a wedding, favorite flowers, lace from special items, miniature flowers etc. It is truly a work of art yet to be finished. (She owns a VW Beetle - old one - which you might be able to find on here). The lilacs are all French Knots. "Download" for details.

Glad you are home and safe! At those prices, they should give you a "Get outa Dodge Free!"

Very cool! Be careful, though. Some of them have venomous spines.
