Love the village. My dad use to bring home carp and buffalo like this in his nets.

I've never seen fairy villages before - very cool! Was the carp edible or a "catch and release"?

What do you do with the carp?
Where I live (in Canada) it seems that only Asian people eat carp.

Not just in Canada. Where I grew up in the 50's and 60's in upstate NY the common joke for cooking carp was to put them on a plank in front of an open fire. When cooked to your satisfaction throw the carp away and eat the plank.

Carp are "bottom feeders", but so are catfish, if I'm not mistaken.
