The shortest lens I use regularily is 7.2 mm. If you are thinking widest then it is a 8 mm Samyang that covers 180 degrees angle. I have no problem with either of those.

8-16 sigma and no problems, of course keystoning at 8 mm is normal
10 mm Nikkor I call it my p&s lens.

Rokinon 8mm f2.8. Fun lens to get a different perspective on things. Not hard to use at all.
