What will happen to the a99, a77II and a65, when Sony pulls out of the DSLR market?

Is there a way for you to put "yourself" on your ignore list.
Who are you to question anyone about how many threads a member starts? If you don't like freedom, start your own forum and call it "overblown". What an arrogant moron you are.
You only have to look at his signature to answer your latter question!

I am not an artist. I am a voyeur and a witness. UHH tips.
Creativity is the same as art appreciation: BS as it is in the eye of the 'beholder' and/or 'critic'."
I gathered from it that this individual had a rather inflated impression of himself.
And there is no such thing as an a77II

Even though the alpha a99 FF, the a77II, and the a68 are all fixed translucent mirror models, they are still, technically - Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras ....
Sony is going to concentrate on MILCs in the future ... the a68, I believe, is their last entry ...
They will still support the RX10xxx and their bridge line, though ....
Technically they are not DSLR because the image in the viewfinder is an EVF and not reflected by the translucent mirror.

Which of these highly touted translucent fixed mirror cameras do YOU have?
I don't see Sony to pull out of the DSLR market!

General Comment to the Posters, here ....
After I'd written the title, I realized I had made an error in the last - the a65 was discontinued.
It has, however, now - been replaced by the a68 (which is really a replacement for the a58)
I also neglected to define the latest model of the a99 ... not even sure what the designation is now ...
However, I stand by my use of the term a77II ... I actually AM a proud owner of this camera ...
So, whoever thought there was no such thing - is very much mistaken ....
Now, then ... since all three of these use a fixed translucent mirror - they could be called other than DSLRs.
However, many still categorize them as DSLR cameras. Fight over it, if you want, but that's the way it is.

Blackest ... not really sure where you got that picture from ... it doesn't look a bit like mine.
However, thanks for posting it - to prove the naysayers wrong ....

SPeters ... it is quite gratifying for me to see you've written that.
Technically, they already have - since the cameras mentioned are not TRUE DSLRs.
However, that said ... I did read somewhere, these models will be the last in the line.
Sony has become more focused on their MILC models - the A7 series.
I suspect they will also continue the bridge line - most notably, the RX10 and follow-up models ....

DPReview It looks the same as other A77 mk II's I can find, the obvious difference between the first and second versions is the red A on the mark I

What a bunch of grumpy old men.
Why not be civil? Or if you aren't interested in the topic, just ignore it?
Some of you guys just don't seem to be very happy....

It used to be occasional...lately it's hard to find a topic that isn't attacked by the grumpies. What a bummer! Takes all the fun out of the site.

Mark ... my recent entry here seems to have created a lot of problems ...
Partly due to the fact I've been so profuse with all my posts ...
Many of which are there to make people think twice about what they are paying for their hardware ....
Some are there to get feedback from other users about the cameras and lenses I've already purchased ...
Others are there to get feedback from other users about some I am still considering ...

Blackest ... you are right ...
The only visible difference (apart from strap design and logo) between the a77 and the a77II is the orange "a"
However, that said ... inside the a77II ... is a very different camera than its predecessor ...
Whilst the a77 was pretty much directed towards the intermediate market ...
The a77II is in every way a professional camera ... worth every single penny Sony charges for it ....
