The Osprey season in Scotland now draws to a close, the fledglings have fledged and the migration to southern europe will start soon, I took these 4 successive shots early in the morning.
Looking forward to their return spring of next year.

I once had the good fortune of watching a Bald Eagle do the very same while on my boat fishing. No camera to capture it but the images in my mind are AWESOME!

Incredible photos. Well done
Very good shots, GarryBB!
A very nice series. I don't think I've seen one in the water with its catch before. They certainly are good at fishing. They do catch the bigger fish, I have noticed.
Superb shots . Really mean this. Which location? I only ask as I was brought up near the Loch of the Lowes in Perthshire, where there have been ospreys now for probably 30 years. There was a famous female called Lady (of the Loch) who visited regularly for 25 years until a couple of years ago, then, no more. Keen to hear. Now all I have to look at are buzzards and particularly kites, the successful, so-called, reintro in Bucks!
