Thx Angela. Went back the other day with a Community bus trip. His sculptures are amazing. Tour guide told us that 12 of his staff came to assemble all the pieces and that Chihully himself designated where each piece was to be placed throughout the Garden.

Lucky you for going back.... his work is amazing and I can't imagine how long it took to assemble all his work! Did you get to go inside the library to see his smaller pieces?

yes. Bowles were truly beautiful works of art. My daughter-in law is a big fan of his. She recently told us that while she was in college she wanted to purchase one of his bowels but the cost was $1500 and she couldn't afford it. She happened to notice same bowel on sale on either ebay or Craig's list for $20,000.
