We took the family to Disneyland last week. These are some of the first pictures I've taken with my ne Sony HX400V camera.
Grateful shots. We moved here from rancho murieta. Never going back to CALIFORNIA
That camera takes really good pictures with you behind the lens!

Well, I lived just down the block in Hemet my senior year of High School...and I don't ever plan on going back to California either!
I didn't know this was going to start a bashing of California. I just wanted to share my pictures and don't really care what you think of California.
Nice. Brings back memories.
I liked the pictures. My first visit to Disneyland was a year after it opened. I was 7 years old at the time. Now I'm 68 and my daughter is a night clerk at the Disneyland hotel and my son worked for Disney several years ago. I get to enjoy the park for free if I time our visits right as my daughter can "sign us in". And I STILL like DisneyLand and enjoy most of the rides and shows.
I remember when Disneyland opened in about 1955 when my family was living in Sacramento. My old man took my three brothers there a few years after it opened but I wasn't able to go since I was working that summer. I did finally make it there in about 2000 with my wife and daughters when I lived in Southern California. We went in February when there were hardly any other people there. It also helped that it was overcast and slightly rainy (nothing to speak about) the day we went. Had practically no lines at any of the rides, even the Indiana Jones ride.
The first time I went to Disneyland the Mt. Everest attraction wasn't open. It had a big wooden fence completely around the mountain.
We went to Disneyland in 1966. We were rather broke but we saved up all of the
S&H Greenstamps we got for a long time and went for free with them. I believe that the 5 of us kids had green mouths for quite some time from licking those stamps!
