The elephant in the room ... N Korea is now a nuclear armed state with ICBMs and will never surrender their weapons. Why would they? It's all they have. Any sane talks start from this reality. We deal with NK just like we deal with the other nuclear armed states. Our biggest worry now is an accidental launch.

I just read every response in this thread. Most have been immature name calling that have nothing to do with the N.Korea problem. For 24years nothing has worked. The last 3 presidents have utterly failed. It has been left to Trump. There are no good options. About all we can do is let N.Korea and the rest of the world know--We will not fire the first shot bu if N. Korea fires a nuke at anybody the country will disappear. From the DMK to the chinese border. We will not be concerned with collateral damage. The whole of NK will be a smoking hole in the ground. There is no doubt that Kim is not rational. He even killed members of his own familly.as I said there are no good options. For 8 years obama complained about the problems he inherited from Bush. But this problem that Trump inherited from Obama just may be a far worse problem.
