Hi,
My wife and I are always on the road especially on the weekends looking for new places to take pictures and wondering if there are other people out there that would be interested in joining some of our adventures, couple would be preferred, but basically we are looking to me other people that share the same passion as us to join our little adventures that we go out on.
Let me know if you have an interest and will take it from there.
Thanks and have a great day!
Chip
a picture from the Solar Eclipse that I took in Tennessee last week
great photo of the eclipse ... wish i could but live in Michigan
Hi Jojo, well if you are ever in the area let us know!
Take a look at the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in Harding, NJ. I used to shoot a lot there when I lived in NJ
Thanks for the suggestion!
Great Swamp excellent suggestion ! Not sure how much you want to cruz Jersey but Twin Lights in the Highlands. Grounds for Sculpture is cool also. You really have to use your creative side to get some wall hangers.
Funny, I use to live in the Highlands so the twin lights were just down the street and Ground for Sculptures we have been there a couple of times and was just at a concert there about a month ago, we have no problem hitting the road if there is something worth taking pictures of.
As I mentioned to another poster earlier this morning, take a look at this site:
https://delawareriver.natgeotourism.com/ which is very interactive. If you have the time, a leisurely trip in kayaks down the Delaware (look for outfitters, there's plenty) within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Some 40 miles of the Delaware, all undeveloped, is within the park along with a section of the Appalachian Trail, and another 130 miles of hiking trails. There's the McDade Trail, a bike/hike trail most of the way through the park, and within the park are the two tallest waterfalls in Pennsylvania (Raymondskill and Dingmans), and the tallest waterfall in New Jersey (Buttermilk Falls).
I know because I live just outside the park.

Good link GB!
I've known and lived in the area (off and on) for a good part of my life and there are things on that site that I didn't know.
If visiting the Dingman's falls there is another photo op spot just a mile or so from there, "Childs Park". (It's named after a man named Childs, not a kiddie park
)
I will have to check these places out, thanks!
I live in Bergen County. I might be interested to join you and your wife with my lady to go on day trips for pics. Please contact me.
