Guess that mean we will have to wait a bit to buy the new camera, no big deal...

The questions that need answers are how many cameras were produced in the first run? An secondly, how many preorders have there been?

Pre-orders for this camera have been HUGE, solely based on pre-release spec rumors. When the actual price was announced pre-orders skyrocketed again because so many uninformed people had spread false horror stories about how much a fine instrument as this would actually be selling for. I just posted it for information.

I myself have a Sony a99II and don't need the Nikon.
I'm happy with what I have.

Is this the company that was in bankruptcy? I heard that there were several companies interested in buying the dying Nikon.
What a way to resurrect!

I always wait awhile until most of the initial design and production bugs are ironed out.

Bankruptcy? Dying Nikon? Where did you get that? Please post the reference sources for these things.

Lightroom won't have an update for the D850 for a while. Might as well take a cold potato and wait.

It seems odd to me that you would let a software company dictate to you when you are allowed to buy a camera. But to each his own.

But not to worry, by the time Nikon catches up with the sales orders Adobe will have the software updated and pushed out to the CC users.
