Several years ago, when I was still using a Canon Rebel, I purchased a battery grip from a Chinese company; I used it for only a few months before I decided I like smaller cameras better, but in that time I had to contact them because the innards of one of the battery drawers were coming apart, and they did send me a new drawer. I hope your adventure is more successful.
