Went to get my laptop fixed so thay said that thay saved my photos for me 2700 of them. To make a long story short. I had to give them my exturnal drive for thay could down load my pictures because thay couldn't down load them back on my laptop??? When I got my pictures back a pop up showed me that the files are unsupported damaged and or corrupted. Has this ever happened to any one and if it has. Is there a way I can get my pictures back. As a photographyer, I love my pictures and thay are priceless to me. Help me if you can cause i'm felling down:-(

IF you haven't written over the files, this is a really nice program. But 2700 pics? I doubt if it will find that many that are still retrievable.

I've always been leery of the word expert. Highly over-used.

If I ever doubted why I back up all my photos in three places, This just reminded me! I am so sorry that you suffered this loss. Hope someone with more knowledge than I can solve your problem.

An 'Expert' is anyone who's 50 miles from home.

Do you have the Hard drive from the laptop? Get a Hard drive USB docking station (eSATA???). I use one by Thermaltake. You might be ale to get into it yourself. Depends on type of corruption/error the drive has.

No, that's a consultant. An expert is anyone who thinks they know more than you do.

I think that's an Aussie expression. Hasn't reached Uncle Sam yet.
