How's your water supply?

Phenomenal.
The early settlers made a large chain of dams on the Salt and Verde rivers that were for irrigation. Now with houses far less water is used. Also there is the Central Arizona Project canal that allows AZ to utilize their allotment of Colorado River water that was being stolen by CA. It goes from Lake Havasu to Tucson.
Flagstaff is dry and has to ration water.
But overall AZ does quite well water wise.

No Blizzards, No Hurricanes, and you can water ski and snow ski in the same day (just not in the same place. Great fishing and golf all year. Sure, it gets hot in the summer, really hot, but that is why you have air conditioning. I have lived here for 70 years, and I love it! Wouldn't live anywhere else. Come to Arizona, bring your camera, spend your money. . . now go Home! 😃

Do the math . . . Square miles. And lots of smiles, too!

Good info although I was prepared for some political commentary regarding a recent rally by an occupant in DC.

Whatever State or part of State is one's favorite is highly personal. For me, the North Shore of Lake Superior is God's Country

Good thing not everyone agrees with you or else their would be no place to stand, eventually it would look like Detroit. To each his own, be thankful not everyone wants to be there. In any case it is a great state, I go every winter.

We lived near Tucson until recently - just (reluctantly) moved to be near my wife's children in VA. Tucson is still cowboy country with great photo opps everywhere you look. We would sit on the rear patio sipping wine and look at the snow capped Santa Ritas in winter months. Politically, Pima county is a blue patch among the red but both senators are interesting mavericks. If you travel down to Nogales on I19 note that distances are marked in kilometers - it is the only interstate not in marked in miles.

They used to publish a monthly magazine, I believe it was called Arizona Highways, that was filled with gorgeous pictures.

You are correct -- although the projection of the map makes the northern part of the US larger in proportion than it would be on a globe.

According to Wikipedia, Arizona has 113,990 square miles. New England has 71,991 and Pennsylvania 46,055 for a total of 118,046.
