The alt left protesters were not peaceful.
BLM is a violent organization killing police officers and others. Black supremacists.
NAACP promoting racial divide for decades and violence against those who oppose them. Black supremacists.
Democrats daily promoting violence agaist the president and all his supporters including assassination and murder.

You seem to be very isolated and at 85 miles north of the frozen tundra, I'm surprised you have internet. You obviously don't get accurate news up there. You should try listening completely to what the President said IN CONTEXT and not let yourself be taken in by incomplete agenda driven media. What you base your comment on is not all of what he said.

and just take his words literally, do not read anything into them... and if a word has quotes around it- it will likely hgave a different meaning than what you thought, wait until a Professional Trumpsplainer has parsed it for you... do not try to understand yourself, Trump's words directly... it's like the Bible, you need a scholar to interpret.

There was violence on both sides, I don't understand how anyone can watch the videos of what happened and not see that. The Nazi wackos should crawl back under the rock they came out from, they have no business spewing their hatred in any city. They were issued an approval for their demonstration, the people from antifa and other left wing hate groups weren't. The police should have kept these two sides apart but they left the area and the violence erupted because of them leaving. The alt left protesters were bussed in, somebody paid for those busses, find out who paid and you'll find out who wanted this altercation to take place.

I absolutely agree with your post. The original poster should apologize to Jerry for Jerry does nothing but try and help other Hoggers with his invaluable searches and referrals to various sites. He is a generous man who takes the time to search for answers for others questions without ridicule or judgement which the OP obviously does not know anything about. The OP needs to understand how this site operates, we don't tolerate bashing a long time member who never has a mean thing to say about anyone else.

Your rationale is flawed. To say there was no violence on the part of one party to the confrontations because they were 'defending' themselves is nonsense. The definition of 'violence' is pretty straight forward: NOUN - behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Both sides were trying to accomplish one or more of the actions cited in the definition. To try to lay this on one side is just pure naivety.
