I bought the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G85 for travel. Here are a few of my first shots all taken with the 12-60 mm kit lens.

Edits were minor...cropping #1 and 3
Converting to B&W #2

No other post editing. I think I will like this camera....a lot!

If it came with SilkyPix software, try it. It's not a workflow tool, but the raw image conversions are great!

The G85 is a well-balanced tool. Enjoy it.

You are gonna love it! I bought the GX85 two months ago and the 12-60 lens, it is a great travel kit. Received the 14-140 Mark II lens yesterday and it is a great all-in-one lens for travel too. My Nikon D7200 is feeling very lonely these days.

I think your liking the camera is justified. Plus, it's obviously in the right hands.

My Nikon 7100 feels the same!
Just ordered the 25mm 1.2 lens and was thinking that I should consider the 14-140 lens, too. Really liking this camera!
Thanks!

BTW, the 14-140 is the same size as the 12-60. I'm now looking at the Pany 8-18...reading lots of good reviews...damn GAS!

I am Mirrorless bcause I have a DSLR.Can't get caught up with GAS. Gear Acquisition Syndrome. The funtion has not changed from DSLR to Mirrorless except weight and buying all new lenses. They both take great images.

Excellent! I'm watching a Chinese (Taiwan) CSI series on TV, and they feature the Lumix G very prominently.

I have the Fuji XT-1 and love it. So much lighter than the DSLRs. New lenses coming out fairly frequently. Made in Japan. Good glass. Six customizable settings available.
