Don't panic. Tablets are usually much easier than computers. Thought OP said was trying to put music info on a tablet.

There are a number of apps for the Apple iPad that enable you to use the iPad as a sheet music reader. See: <https://appadvice.com/appguides/show/Sheet-Music-Readers-For-iPad> A friend uses one and has sworn off paper.

Apple hardware, the iPad Pro is rather expensive for a sheet music reader. More than $1K the last time I looked.
Check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2" on eBay for gently used units for 1/4 - 1/3 the cost of the iPad Pro. Software/apps: look for sheet music readers in the Google Playstore or Amazon's Appstore.
The android tablet cited has the additional advantage of expandable storage via a micro SD card so if your sheet music library – converted to PDF or suitable format, is overflowing its binders, expandable storage is a major plus vs. the fixed (and expensive) Apple memory.
Search youtube.com for tablet sheet music readers for even more comprehensive info.

H.Eye, Great info and thank you and all the rest for helping an old guy work his way into the modern world. My next excursion is to figure out Wi-Fi. I see it some eating establishments and thought it was a new item on the menu. Wondering if I could get it medium rare. Guess not.
