Here's one more pic from my quick-access photos on my phone. It was taken with the Sony through the window in my previous house's living room.... so not as clear as desired, but the subject was so cute I couldn't resist. Very grey day, so contrast is poor. Still, it brings a smile.....

The just-posted picture is the original, just cropped a bit. I have some edited versions on my laptop, but haven't gone through any of those pics yet.

Last night I played with the Sony a bit, trying to start getting a feel for how to set it better for the lighting. I have a black cat, so she's a good subject. So far, the automatic setting (without multiple exposures) was best. I'll keep playing with manual settings though. There are times when I'll need it, I know.
