MpixPro it's the high volume arm of Mpix. They're not different companies.

Here are some more images to illustrate my point. These are metal prints, all done by MpixPro. The ones on the left were done last fall, and the ones on the right are from this spring. The files haven't changed.

I talked to them and they said you need to contact them if you have a problem!!

I am a new member, as of today, but I have been using Aspen Creek Photo and I have purchased metal prints and paintings from them. They are wonderful and can be reached at
info@aspencreekphoto.com. You will not be disappointed . HH

Oh I have. Chevelle from support and I are best pals. I pulled the images directly out of our email chain, which is at 23 and counting. First they tried to say it was my monitor calibration, then that I was comparing paper to metal, then finally admitted that they got new printers and that they would never be able to match their prints from last year. Told me that I would have to re-Photoshop all of my files to match their new printers, and that I would have to maintain two sets of files for paper vs metal prints. Shocking incompetence from a supposed professional print house.

Does anyone use a online company that does metal prints? Walgreens no longer does them. Costco requires a membership number and I am not a member. Shutterfly website does not work in spite of offering metal prints.

With the demise of photo stores, on line seems the only option. Just can't find something user friendly to use.

Any success you have had would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I've used Bay Photo and am very satisfied. Two are 20 x 30 in size.

Stay away from PrinterPix. Extremely poor customer service - takes them a minimum of a week to answer a question. The worst part is the $10 coupon offer. I've used coupons successfully other places but the metal print from PrinterPix is so flimsy that it has warped hanging on the wall. In fact, it was a gift for my daughter but I won't even give it to her. I wrote to the company and told them I'd like a refund but I don't want to ever hear from them again. Success: I don't even get ads from them any more. Yea!!!

Bay Photo has done two 20 x 30 metal prints for me that are beautiful. You might try them.

I have found a smaller lab in the Northern California area, Laserlight Prints (http://www.laserlightprints.com ) whose prints are of higher quality than either Bay or MPIX - you might want to give them a try.

I used Laserlight back in my film days. Excellent results and folks who were--and should have passed on the ability be be great to work with.
f8lee, it is good to know hey're still doing fine.
