Great series......love these old railroads.
Nice photos. Last time I was there in spring 2016, the roundhouse and yard was not open to visitors, you were very fortunate.

TOP-FLIGHT photos, splitwindow! I remember when I was a little boy, back in the 50s, a steam locomotive came by my street, my sister and I put a penny on the track. Couldn't wait to get the penny after the train left!
Yes, we both got it, couldn't read anything on the penny, looked like a football shaped - NOT ROUND AT ALL, NO WORDS TO READ! Wonderful photos, splitwindow! AP

Very nice!!!
I'm glad you got the locomotive and the tender on the turntable.

Just a couple of shots of the train. The first one was of it coming back into Durango and The one with Santa is at the winter turn around. They only go half way in the winter. Not trying to brag but for your enjoyment.
This is a beautiful set every one; clear, crisp with nice WB.
Extremely fine shots! I've done the winter halfway trip and the summer full ride. Good fun.

that place looks just so scenic you can‘t go wrong. Maybe but you still need the eye for composition and lighting. I wish I could get there. thanks for the series. Andrew.
